But if you choose to take every role seriously, choose to play the part to the best of your ability, choose to think of it as an opportunity for you to be light and shine amidst the darkness, you certainly deserve the award and also the reward. Real life is often far more complex, and far more complicated than theatre.

One thing that gets lost is that these techniques very rarely work through text, or email. I manage a shipyard and the biggest issue I have seen is managers trying to communicate primarily through email and it fails 80% of the time. Always communicate over the phone or in person and then follow up the conversation through email if you need a form of confirmation.

Respectfully, I feel like this only applies to people working a 9-to-5 job they don't like. As the owner of several web stores, I work anywhere between 5-10 hours without distraction because I love most of what I do. I compare it to someone who is really into playing basketball; do they need a five-minute break every 25 minutes to stay motivated (notice I don't say break to rest, but to stay motivated)? No! They love what they do, and while doing it, they stay focused and motivated. I say try to find something you love doing and make the switch! If you need tricks and tips to stay motivated, it's just not meant for you, in my opinion. I worked a day job from 16 to 24, and I was miserable, counting the hours until I could go home. Now, I can't wait for Monday to begin. It's just another Friday, but every day.

I'm confused about the video though. When starting a business, you are either an entrepreneur solving a need in the market or creating an existing as a business owner. They are not the same. The goal is to create a business system (ie. Online store, retail, stall, etc) that sells a specialized unit (ie. Skilled work, a product, book, license agreements, condo, etc). It's as simple as that. Sell something with a high margin or something that is repeatable like food or rentable units. Managers are employees to ensure the business systems stay operational and in an orderly manner. Directors are top-level managers. They solve complex issues relating to customers and management (ie. Complaint, employee issues, etc). The problem is you need to differentiate the roles of managers, entrepreneurs and business owners. They are all different roles. Entrepreneurs utilize human, financial, and capital resources to create and introduce a product, service, or system that solves a need in the marketplace, and they sell and market typically in a niche industry to fulfill demand. A technician, who has a valuable skill is just a specialized unit to the business.

Doesn't work on everyone. No amount of favors will make a narcissist do anything for you. A cheapskate will make you pay for everything and never pitch in. Being nice towards works only with nice people...etc. generally speaking one can use some tricks but on a large scale especially in competitive environment those things are useless
